Indigenous Cultural Diversity Training

  • Murray's Pond Fishing & Country Club Portugal Cove Canada (map)

First Light offers educational experiences through their Indigenous Cultural Diversity Training program to learn about the Indigenous groups in our province, our history, and how that information can be beneficial to our community as a whole. It is important that we not only learn about the cultural differences that we may see across different groups, and understand the history behind them but that we examine each learner’s own culture and how that impacts our everyday lives.

These sessions are meant for individuals and groups to come together and gain Indigenous knowledge, enhance self-awareness and they are great professional development opportunities for any professional working with Indigenous people.

Ticket Fee: $25.00 (Chamber members) and $35.00 (non-Chamber members)

**Note that First Light’s fee to take this program is $55.00/person however we are happy to be able to cover a portion of your ticket fee in an effort to make this event more accessible to everyone.
